Here you can find statistical materials prepared by the project partner Roma Tre on the papers published during 2000-2008  in one of the main physical journals Physical Review Letters and dedicated to the electromagnetic characterization of nanostructured metamaterials through bulk material parameters, namely dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability.

These materials clearly show that the most part of researchers occupied with the eelctromagnetic characterization of nanostructured metamaterials tend to ignore some physical limitations on bulk material parameters, i.e. some of the obtained results unfortunately suffer from misinterpretation.
